David He is an experienced speaker, citizen developer advocate, and recognized voice in the Microsoft Power Platform community. Based in Calgary, Canada, he brings a background spanning leadership, business development, and technology enablement to his role as Productivity Director at Bauer Automate.
At Bauer Automate, David leads innovation strategy and helps organizations unlock real business value from Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform. His approach centres on how people, processes, and tools come together to create better ways of working; not just more technology. He excels at translating business goals into practical improvements that teams actually adopt, guiding clients beyond one-off solutions toward cohesive productivity ecosystems that reduce friction, scale effectively, and deliver measurable impact.
David's journey into the Power Platform began as a citizen developer, where he experienced firsthand how low-code tools can democratize technology and empower teams to solve meaningful problems. That perspective continues to shape how he approaches digital transformation today. He is a co-lead of the Calgary Power Platform User Group and a regular presence at Microsoft-hosted Power Platform events, contributing actively to knowledge sharing and community growth.
Beyond his work with clients, David is driven by a personal mission to position Calgary, Alberta, and Canada as leaders in the global tech sector. He believes that by building strong companies, investing in people, and sharing knowledge openly, the entire ecosystem benefits.
Outside of work, David enjoys exploring new technology and traveling, and brings a global perspective shaped by time living and traveling throughout Asia. He is currently training for a half marathon and practicing hot yoga; bringing the same discipline and curiosity to personal growth that he brings to innovation and productivity.
