Supporting the broader community
Our commitment reaches beyond our own walls and into the communities we serve.
We fly the Pride flag as a sign of our support for the LGBTQ+ community and our belief that everyone deserves equal opportunity, dignity and respect. We take part in community events such as Airdrie PrideFest, where we meet people and share the same message: technology is for everyone.
For those events we made "Technology is for Everyone" pins. We hand them out to say, in a small way, that access to technology, knowledge and opportunity should never depend on background, identity or circumstance.
A pin is a small symbol of a larger promise: people should feel welcome and capable in technology spaces.
Designing technology for people
Inclusivity also shapes how we design solutions.
We build technology for real people. That means solutions that are accessible, easy to pick up and useful to someone at any level of technical experience. Technology should adapt to the people who use it.
Our goal is to help organizations create digital workplaces where their teams can work well, collaborate easily and take part fully.
