Ryley Bauer

Ryley Bauer is a University of Alberta business graduate in Management of Information Systems and a recognized leader in business process automation and digital transformation. Based in Calgary, Canada, he has spent over a decade helping organizations unlock the full value of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and the Power Platform.

As the founder of Bauer Automate, Ryley leads a consulting firm dedicated to building scalable, practical automation solutions for government, enterprise, and growing businesses across multiple industries worldwide. His approach is holistic and strategic; integrating systems thoughtfully so technology is neither underutilized nor overcomplicated. From low-code application development to infrastructure advisory, he focuses on helping organizations work smarter using the tools they already own.

A Microsoft Certified Trainer who has earned every available Power Platform certification (an achievement held by only a small number globally). Ryley is consistently ranked among the top trainers in the Power Platform space. Bauer Automate has been recognized as “Global Business Automation Specialists of the Year” for two consecutive years in recognition of its innovative approach to process improvement.

Ryley is passionate about sharing knowledge and strengthening the local tech community. He mentors professionals through workshops and events, including co-leading the Calgary Power Platform User Group, and actively contributes insights from real-world projects across diverse industries.

Outside of automation and digital strategy, he’s an avid musician who plays guitar and drums. and is known to fuel creativity with a Dr. Pepper Slurpee.
